Halloween 2015

Costumes - I love Halloween, especially taking pictures of my kids in their costumes.  It seems like I wait last minute to plan costumes.  It was great to see Josh and Danni come up with their own costumes.  Josh really good into preparing his whatchamacallit.

Truck or Treat - Ward Trunk or Treat - It's been at 5 years since our whole family attended a ward trunk or treat. Usually it's just Jim and the two younger girls. It was great to be there as a whole family.  This event was held a week before Halloween.

Day Before Halloween - Jim dressed up at work as Dilbert.  He worked hard on his costume the night before and the day of. It's the perfect costume to wear at work.  

Halloween Day - Marching Band Competition of course. It was SO fun to watch some great AZ bands march. It was fun to go with Josh and hear his perspective. Mesa High performed very well!!!

Halloween Night - Josh took the girls trick or treating, Danni hung out with her cousin, and Jim and I had a movie night. It was a fun night!!!!.

I've been thinking about scouts lately, mostly because I'm helping in the re-chartering process. I'm so grateful for what the scouting program had done for my son and will continue to do for him.

Morning at the Temple

Wed. morning, I went to the temple with Angela. It was a sweet experience. I'm so glad that I was able to go with her. It was raining after we came out of the temple. What a great way to start the day!!!!

Memorable MondayInfluence of a Scoutmasters

Our ward recently lost it's Scoutmaster.  It was  a really sad.  He was really patient with the boys and they really loved him.  At his funeral, the boys stood at attention as his casket went by.

Scoutmasters have such a great influence and set a great example to the YW.  Jim was scoutmaster for 5 years and I that he tough teh boys that he worked with.  My dad was a scoutmaster too.  I think of all the scoutmasters that worked with Josh.  Brother Smithson and Brother Gardner helped Josh in so many ways. I will never forget how much they helped Josh.

October Break

We had a great October Break this year.  The kids had a week off of school, except Josh.  He only had a couple of days off, so we adjusted.  I tried to do something fun each day during October Break.

Day 1- It was so fun to go to the movies with my kids!!! Thanks!!!

Day 2 - We ran away to the Rim for the second day of October Break.  Grandma and Grandpa Pace went camping, so we paid them a visit.  It was so nice to spend the day in the cooler weather.

Day 3 - Today we watch movies and went out to eat. Josh only had a two day break and started back to school today.

Day 4- We carved our pumpkin. I know it's early, but the next two weeks are crazy, so we did it today. We made fall treats too. Missed Danni - she had to work.

 Day 5 - We hung out with our cousins - Kenzie and Joey

Day 6 - We went to the Pumpkin Splash at the Brimhall pool. The girls were able to get a pumpkin and swim a little before the rain came.  We joined Sarah and Trina at the pool.  It's always more fun with friends.

Day 7 - On the 7th and last day of October Break, Emily had her Primary Presentation. It was a great program and I loved watching Emily sing.
