I'm dusting off my advocate hat today. I'm going to need to it at Angela's IEP Mtg. today. This is her last IEP Mtg before she turns 18 and we are hopefully going to discuss the transition process from high school to adulthood. I've been dreading this process for several years now, but it's time to face it head on. "I can do hard things."
We have our last real planning IEP for Angela. She is on track to graduate next year. Her next IEP will be just a checklist and celebration. She has had IEP's since she was 21/2 and started preschool. She has been so lucky to have great services through the school.
