Painting

For Relief Society, we painted these amazing pics.  Becca Johnson taught us how to paint.  I didn't think that I could do it, but surprisingly (at least for me)  it turned out great.  Everyone's pictures turned out great.  My kids were super impressed with my painting.  I'm impressed too!!!

Choir Feeder Concert

Angela had a feeder concert tonight, so off we went.  I love watching Angela sing on the Mesa High stage.  I wore my choir shirt to support the choir

One of my fav Choir Feeder Concerts was when all 3 of my girls sang on the stage.  Danni sang with the Mesa choir, Angela sang with the Taylor choir, and Emmy sang with the Mesa Children's Choir

Sitting President

Putting politics aside, it's an amazing experience to see a sitting president of the US. Pres. Obama spoke at Jim's graduation 7 1/2 yrs. ago. Since Jim was getting his Master's degree, he was able to sit on the field.

Memorable Monday
Same Shirt

I looked closely at several years of Family Pictures and realized that Emmy has worn the same shirt in 3 different family photos.  I guess I really like the shirt.  Haha!!!  It's time for that shirt to be retired.

She looks great in this shirt - that's why I kept using it.  I got a lot of use out of that shirt - 5 years.  Emily is such a cutie and these pictures show that off.  Love you Em!!

Bass Clarinet

Josh has an chair placement test today for a band class at ASU. I just realized that this will be the 5th school in which he has played the bass clarinet. He attended the MCC class while still attending Mesa High

New Building

It's the New Year and we changed church bldgs.   The Dana ward moved into the Solomon building, the Cooper Ward is meeting in the Lazona Ward Bldg., and the KBP Ward moved to the Stake Center.  The Glade building and the Emerald Acres building are going to be used by the young adults. It's so weird being at the stake center and it took awhile to gather the family to come home. We didn't agree to a meeting place, so we wandered around for 15 min. We miss our old building a lot and wish we could return but we will make this building our home.  It just may take some time.   We  really miss our Glade Building.
