PROM 2016

Brigham asked Danni to Prom this year.  They have been dating for awhile, so it was nice for Danni to go her last senior dance with him.  Danni had a hard time picking out a dress, but she found a cute black one.  It was cold that night, so she wore a jacket for most of the night..  I bought a matching boutonniere and corsage for the two of them.

They went to get pictures done in downtown Gilbert, had dinner at Buca di Beppo, and then headed off to the dance.  The dance was held at the Dinosaur Museum, so Danni was really excited.  Danni really likes museums.  I think the dance took place on the roof, how fun is that??

Danni looked beautiful and she had a great time.

They sent me this photo so I could flood social media.  Thanks!!!
Brigham's cousin took their pictures.  They planned to take them in a desert setting at the Riparian Preserve, but the rain changed those plans.  So, they headed off the Downtown Gilbert.  The pictures turned out really great.

Danni and Brigham went to both Homecoming and Prom during Dann's senior year.  I made a collage of their pictures side by side.  I think Danni had a great time at both dances.

Senior Ditch Day

Danni spent her senior ditch day with me and Brigham.  We started off with breakfast at Einsteins, then headed off to the Riparian Preserve to find sites for Prom pictures.   We went to ASU to pick up Josh and then had lunch..  Josh and I went home while Danni and Brigham enjoyed the rest of senior ditch day together.  It was fun spending time with Danni.

My Parents are Missionaries

My parents have been called to serve as missionaries at the cannery.  They had already been working in the cannery, but not it is an official missionary assignment.  Our family came to the setting apart and pics were taken.  I'm so glad that my parents are serving a service mission.  My parents love serving in the cannery.  They have such great stories to tell and seem so much happier.  I love it when they share goodies too.

Mesa Street Pianos

Mesa hosted an event call "Play Me, I'm Yours".  There were 24 playable and artistically enhanced pianos were at the MAC for a brief time.  I think there was a concert in which all 24 pianos were played as part of the celebrations of a major milestone: 10 years at their beautiful location in Downtown Mesa.   Later, the pianos were scattered all over Mesa.  I found all but one piano.  The piano located near the Mesa Convention Center was removed due to vandalism.    As I looked for each of the pianos. I learned more about Mesa.  Mesa is a truly unique city and I'm so glad that I explored it as I looked for these pianos.  Each piano was donated and decorated by different people and organizations that reside in Mesa.  There were a lot of people that worked to put on this event.  I'm so glad that I stumbled upon it.  I loved finding each of these pianos.

Sweet Angela

I had my annual meeting regarding Angela's school and we are getting plans set up for next year. She is starting a transition program. It's hard to believe that in 2 years she could graduate and find a job.
