ASU Band

Josh had his first ASU band concert tonight. His band sounded so good. I loved watching him perform again!!!

40's Party

My good friends had a 40's party and I took the opportunity to dress up.  It was fun to do.  Jim was a little late to the party due to work, so I pretended that he was in the war.  Not many got the joke, so I was happy to have him with me.  Jim and I don't often go to parties where we dress up, so I got to document them.

Fishing Field Trip

Angela went on a fishing trip with some members of her special needs group.  Most of these kids she has never met, but they all have the same case manager.  They went on a fishing trip near Red Mountain.    I told Angela to take a picture and she sent me this selfie.  Haha!!!  She said that she had a great time and I'm thrilled that she was able to go on a field trip this year.  I think she misses those.  They gave her a fishing pole to bring home.  How cool is that!!

Priest Laurel Activity

I went with Angela to the Priest and Laurel activity.  There were a lot of fun activities and I loved watching Angela interact with those she knew.  She participated in so many events and that made me very happy.  She was in Judy's group and that made Judy helped her fee included.  This is Angela's last priest and laurel activity.  I'm glad that I was able to be there for her on both occasions.

President's Day

The girls had President's Day off, but Josh did not.  So, when Josh had a break from school, we picked him up and went to get some pizza.  Afterward, we toured the ASU campus. Josh is a great tour guide. It sprinkled a little bit, which was SO cool.  We even saw Sparky on campus.  It was great to share some of the days off with Josh.  It's not the same when we can't spend our days off with Josh.

Valentine's Day

Emily's Orchestra had a Valentine's Day concert / Fundraiser before Valentine's Day.  She performed the famous Cannon song and I was right in front of her.  It was so amazing.  We bought both Em and Ang a flower at the concert.

There was a late late start on Valentine's Day, so Jim and I took the girls to Einstein Bagels.  I loved spoiling my girls on Late Late Starts, especially if it's on Valentine's Day.

Angela got all dressed up for Valentine's Day and looked super cute.    She made some valentines for some friends and left them home.  I went to school to return them to her and saw that she received valentines herself.  She was smiling ear to ear.

Brigham and Danni joined Jim, the girls,  to Fiiz for drinks and games.  Josh had to work and was unable to join us.   Fiiz has become our go-to-place lately.  It's such a fun place to hang out and they sell soda, so to me it's a win-win.  We bought Josh a drink and brought it home so he knew that we loved him too.  I usually don't like Valetin's Day, but this year was pretty great.

YW Retreat

My girls went on a retreat with the YW.  These pictures showed up on Facebook, Instagram, and photos that my girls took.  It looked like they had a lot of fun.  I wish that I could have gone with them.  The KBP YW are pretty sweet gals and they have such sweet spirits.  I'm glad that my girls get to hang with them over the weekend.
