Rim Country

Grandma and Grandpa Pace headed up north to go camping.  We headed up for part of the day so Josh could be home for work.  We played several games while we were up there - Scattergories and UNO.  The big UNO cards were a hit!!  Brandon brought some mustaches and we had a blast wearing them.  It was the highlight of the trip. Uncle David and Aunt MaryAnn came just a little after we did and stayed for the day as well.   Jim cooked his famous chili for lunch and it was a hit too.  I love that there are no tomatoes.  It was nice to be in the cooler weather even if we spent most of the time dodging the sun.  We were constantly finding and moving into the shade.  Emily stayed behind with Grandma and Grandpa Pace and camped a couple of extra nights.

Feed My Starving Children

We went with Pace Family and helped with "Feed My Starving Children" again.  It was a lot of fun to serve as a family.  I really appreciate Kathryn for setting this service project up.  It really makes you appreciate how lucky we are to have food in our cupboards.  If there is no food in the cupboards, we can just go the store to buy some.  A lot of people in 3rd world countries don't have that luxury.  Food is hard to come by.  We are truly lucky and we should do all that we can to help others.  "Feed My Starving Children is a great place to learn about those needing assistance and providing service too.  There are so many other ways to provide service, but Feed My Starving Children educates as well as making the service a lot of fun.  It's just a great way to spend an evening - serving with family.

Jenna’s Baby Shower

Jenna had her baby shower and it was super cute.  The Turleys did such a great job decorating with the Little Man theme.  It was first time that we saw Kaylynn, Danni, and Jenna pregnant at the same time. They were sweet to do a photo shoot for me. Jenna got a lot of cute baby clothes and baby blankets.  She even announced at the shower that they were going to name their baby, Jordan.  I love that name.  Now the Beecrofts all start with the letter J.
