Pool Passport

Mesa Public Pools has 9 pools and we visited them all and filled out our Passport.  It was a lot of fun to hit all the pools.  Our last stamp was at Carson and Danni was there with us that day.  It was great to visit all the pools.  If it wasn't for the passport, I'm not sure that we would go to all the pools.  We would just hit our favorite pools.
We filled up the Passport

Danni’s Baby Shower

Danni had a co-ed shower at the Johnson's. house.  It was a Fiesta Pool Party.  Angela and Emily spent a lot of time in the pool.  Jim and Josh were very helpful, but didn't stay long.  Brittany planned the shower and did a lot of decorations including the backdrop.  Danni and I worked on the food - Mexican style, of course.  Danni had a great shower and received a lot of cute gifts.  She felt loved!!!

Angela's first and last YW

KBP YW
Angela is moving on to RS and her last YW activity was going to Feed My Starving Children.  This was her 3rd time serving there.  It's such a wonderful place to make packets that will be delivered to parts of the world that need food.  Angela LOVE YW and is sad to leave, but RS will benefit greatly from Angela's kind heart.

On Angela's last day of YW, she got to bring home her Young Women Journal.  She has poured so much time into it.  She took great notes and pasted handouts.  This will be a prized possession for years to come.
Angela's First YW activity to her last
Her first YW activity happened on her actual birthday - Februrary 29, 2012.  She woke up in the morning with a welcome to remember and ended the day with her first activity - New Beginnings.  Katelyn Judd introduced her to the girls in YW.  It was a great evening,  Danni made a video presentation as a part of the evening.  She worked really hard on it and it turned out better than anyone could have anticipated.  She is really talented.

Laurel Retreat 2018

Angela went to San Diego on the Laurel Retreat with the stake.  I want asked to go with her, so I worried the whole time she was there.  I asked Sis. Gardner to help Angela while she was there.  Angela had a really good friend, Judy, that hung with her and the girls in the ward helped her while she was in the hotel room.  This was a huge leap of faith for me, but she had fun.

The girls went to the San Diego Temple, Seaport Village, Mormon Battalion, and the beach twice.  The girls know and love Angela and it is obvious by looking at the pictures. She had a blast and I'm glad that she went.  I still wish I could have hid in her luggage though.  I'm grateful for the leaders that watched over Angela and took pictures.

Danni's Maternity Shoot

Ashley took Danni's maternity shots out in the desert.  The location was just a little drive and walk, but it was beautiful, especially at dusk.  Danni looked stunning in the dress she picked and borrowed from Kaylynn.   She is a gorgeous mother to be.  The pics turned out great!!!

Free Food

It's that time of season, free food.  Chick-fil-A offers a free meal if you dress as a cow and 7-11 offers free slurpees on 7-11.  It's become a little tradition with the family.  My kids are good sports and let me take some pictures.  There were some sister missionaries that got in the spirit and went dressed as cows for their lunch.   Here are the pics that I took this year.

Memorable Monday
Previous 4th of Julys

I was making these collages to show Danni what each Fourth of July was looked like and what patriotic shirts we wore.  Patriotic outfits have been a huge part of the holiday.  Danni has been helping me the past few years picking out shirts for us.  It's been fun to plan with her.
