Emmy turned and I wanted to make it special.  The Young Woman president hearted our front door.  I thought it was a sweet gesture and a fun way to start off the day.  Since she had remote learning that day, we were able to take her out to lunch.  We took her to Pei Wei and look back on the times  when we took her on our dates when she was younger.  Natalie Gardner made Emily one of the cutest cake. Emily picked the color teal and I loved that Natalie put her name on the cake.  It was the perfect cake.  Of course, gifts are apart of birthdays.  We got her some drawings pencils for Emily and Kenzie brought over a drawing that she did.  I hope Emily had a awesome 16th birthday.      We later went as a family to have dinner at Subway, one of Emily's favorite places to eat.
