Christmas 2005

I look back at pictures of Christmas 2005.  Here are some pictures of what took place on Christmas and the days preceding it.

*We went to the Temple lights with my parents and the Clawsons.  It's fun to look back and see how young we look.  Ironically, this year is the first time in many years that the temple lights are closed since the beginning of the renovation.  The temple lights will never look the same after the renovation.

* We went to the mall to see Santa.  Emily was not too thrilled.  Looking back, I do feel bad that she didn't like Santa.  Luckily she didn't sit on Santa's lap for too long.

*Jim and I were asked to be Mary and Joseph and Emily was baby Jesus.  She was an older Jesus, but I loved that we were able to represent part of the nativity that year.

*We made cookies which is always a fun tradition.  Someone needs to make cookies for Santa. I feel like Santa might be extra kind to Emily since he made her cry at the mall.

* I bought my girls matching dresses for Christmas Sunday.  I loved taking pictures to show off my cute kids with their cute outfits.

*We had a Christmas Party at the Paces.  It looks like my kids had a lot of fun.  Christmas is about family and we spent a lot of time with family during the holidays.

*Christmas Eve - Ready for Santa to visit.  Jammies, Slippers, stuffed animals from Grandma Pace, and our Christmas Eve picture.  Hurry up Santa!!

*Christmas morning - I loved watching the kids open their presents and seeing their faces when they see what Santa brought.  Christmas morning is so full of magic and you see it in the kid's faces.

*Christmas afternoon at my parent's is the end of our Christmas celebrations.  Jeff was in town and Angela loves her uncle Jeff.  She waits til everyone gets their turn talking to Jeff and then she sits on his lap.  It was a fun Christmas and I loved hanging out with Jim and the kids and the extended family.

Christmas Letter 2004

Pace Family 2004
This has been a good year for the Pace family.  We have grown a lot since last year.  We added a new member to our family - Emily Ruth Pace.

Jim has been busy with work and his calling as Scout-master.  He enjoys working with his scout boys.  He has been released as YM 2nd  Counselor so he can put more energy into scouting.  He was able to spend a week at scout camp and had a great time.  Jim also loves to play games with his kids, and they enjoy spending time with him.

Tami has been very busy this year.  She volunteered in Josh's and Dan's school classes in the Spring.  She is busy being Mom to four children and Primary secretary as well.  She still enjoys taking pictures and reading when she can.

Josh has had a big year.  He turned eight this year and was baptized.  He is in second grade and enjoys school a lot.  He is in the "Math Facts" club again this year as well, and has earned his Bobcat badge in Cub Scouts.

Danielle is already six years old.  She is in first grade and loves to read any book she can get her hands on.  She loves to go on bike rides with her Dad.  She is taking dance and gymnastics with some of her friends.  She is a true social butterfly.

Angela celebrated her first true birthday (thanks to another leap year) and turned four years old this year.  She is also taking dance lessons, and loves to wear her dance suit and tap shoes all day long.  She loves listening to and singing along with music calling every instrument she hears or sees a "piano".

Emily was born on Election Day - Nov. 2nd.  She is growing very fast.  Her eyes have developed into a beautiful shade of blue.  She smiles every so often and is close to sleeping through some nights.

We have had a great year and feel very blessed.  We are grateful for all your support and love, and wash you a Merry Christmas a great New Year.

Thanksgiving 2005

Thanksgiving is approaching and I thought it would be fun to look back on past Thanksskgivings, those before I started blogging.  Thanksgiving 2005 was at Jon and Mindy's house.  Mardy, Iralee and their 3 kids came down to AZ so we all had Thanksgiving together.  We had a yummy dinner and the kids had fun being together.  Jon and Mindy's house is so much fun and their is a lot of room to play plus cool toys.   The go-kart was a hit with the kids and they took turns riding it.  It was fun to look back at the pictures on that day.

Thanksgiving 2018

The day before Thanksgiving, the Paces gathered together at Grandma and Grandpa Pace's new home for pizza.  Their house is really cute and we were so excited to get the tour.  It was the first time that we were able to see Kaylynn's new baby.  It was fun to see the three babies altogether.  It's fun to have a new generation of Paces.  It was just a lot of fun to catch up with each other and hold the little ones.

We had Thanksgiving at my parent's house.  Danni and her family were able to join us this year.  It was Manny's first Thanksgiving, so we were really excited.  I worked with mom for the past few months on what the PT asked us to do.  I decided that I wanted her to kick a ball on Thanksgiving o show off her skill.  She did an awesome job and then I spontaneously asked her to catch a ball without any practice, and she did great with that too.  It was a fun Thanksgiving.

Manny - 2 months

Danni wrote -"Manny is 2 months today! Manny is starting to smile, and loves to coo. He has started sleeping thru the night. He will follow your with his eyes, and loves to watch the mobile above his swing. He also loves to watch the TV when it’s on, and loves listening to music. "

We love getting to see Danni and Manny often and getting our Manny snuggles.  We are so lucky to have Manny live so close and be able to spend so much time with him and watch him grow.  Manny turned 2 months on Brigham's birthday.  We love having both Brigham and Manny in our lives.  They both make Danni so happy.
