We had New Beginnings tonight and the YW leaders put on a beautiful program titled " A Journey to the Temple. The program was centered on the three white dresses that a girls wears in her life - Blessing, Baptism, and on her Wedding Day. It was beautiful to see the girls and YW leaders dressed in white.
Danni made a video for her Individual Worth project that the girls in the ward participated in. The video was centered on how the Personal Progress program can help the girls keep a focus on the temple. Danni did such a great job on the video and worked many hours editing it. Since Angela was a new beehive, she was introduced to the YW and she received some great YW goodies. She has been participating in the YW's program because of the dance festival, but New Beginnings was her official first day in Young Womens.
"Angela loves music and is taking piano lessons, playing the cello at school, and participating in the Mesa Children's Choir. When Angela sings, you can see that music touches her spirit. Angela has a great memory which helps her memorize the Articles of Faith and participate in the school spelling bee. Angela has a sweet spirit and is a happy girl. Angela loves her family, especially her sisters and loves to spend time with them. Angela has a testimony and knows that her Heavenly Father loves her"
