Memorable Monday
March 20, 2006

Jim has been working really hard at work. He has been so busy, he missed a couple of scout camping trips. Scouts keep him busy too. He enjoys being with the scouts. On Friday, Jim is going on a camp out. They planned to go on a hike. The scouts want to play in the snow. They waited a year to go play in the snow. Jim would love to go camping near the snow.

Josh has been busy with scouts and school. There are a lot of fun activities in the scout book. We do a lot of activities as a family. Josh did some testing for ELP. It is an Extended Learning Program. He was very close to getting in. The kids in the program go to another school once a week and do the program. Josh is only in third grade. I want him to enjoy school and be with his class. They try again next year. What a difference a couple of years make.

Danielle has been really busy. She was baptized last week. It was a beautiful day. It was raining after 143 days. The opening song was "When I Am Baptized". It talks about rain and baptism. It was the perfect song for that day. The family planted a tree for Dani in the front yard. It looks great with Josh's tree. Dani has been busy with dance and her friends.

Angela is doing really well in school. Her language skills are improving a lot. She tells me every day after school that she had fun, she played with her friends, she played with her centers, the letter of the week, and the sound that letter makes. It's so good to hear her talk

Emily is growing up so fast. She will be in nursery in 5 weeks, 4 because of General Conference. She
knows what she wants. She doesn't want to walk yet. She is very close. With everyone giving her everything she needs, why give that up.

I have been busy with Enrichment. I made a DVD  presentation of a special evening centered around the Restoration. I made 144 copies for the sisters in our ward. It was a big project, but a rewarding one. Jim has another DVD project for me. Spring Break was a lot of fun. We enjoyed playing in the snow with our cousins. Later that night, we went to visit Grandma and Grandpa Pace while they were camping. Jim and I took Friday off and spent the day shopping. We went to IKEA. It was a lot of fun. We have been married for 11 years. Time sure does fly.
