Josh competed in his first chess tournament as a member of the Taylor Chess Club. There first tournament was divided into quads. They each played 3 games and only played those players in their quad. Josh placed 1st in his quad and received a trophy. Josh has competed in chess tournaments before but this was the first time with the Taylor Chess Club. Josh loves chess and enjoys playing the game. I played with him a few days ago, and lost in 3 minutes. It'll be a while before I play him again. Congratulations to Josh and we are very proud of him.
