The first competition this season was the Basha Invitaional and Mesa High took 1st place. It was an amazing feeling to ride home on the bus knowing that Mesa started their season in 1st place instead of 6th like last year. Basha, Perry, and Hamilton were the main competitors last year. Bash moved to Division 1 and Mesa beat Perry and Hamilton in this competition Mr. Brooks didn't want them to celebrate too much, because they now have a target on their back. This was Danni's first competition ever and it went well. Josh and Danni should enjoy the 1st place and then get back to work on Monday. There is a lot of work, because they only performed only part of the first movement. Great Job guys!!!
