Memorable Monday"Why was She Fired?"

Callings are so hard for children to understand.  Danni is a year behind Josh in primary, so naturally Danni thinks that Josh's primary teacher will hers next year.  Josh had Sis. Udall for his primary teacher one year.  Before the new year started, Sis. Udall was released as a primary teacher and called to be the Relief Society Secretary.  Danni realized that Sis. Udall wasn't going to be her primary teacher and asked "Whey was Sis. Udall fired?" I gave a good chuckle and realized that Danni didn't know about callings.  How often to we just assume that our kids know these kind of things.  I sat down with Danni and explained the situation.  She still wanted Sis. Udall as her primary teacher, but she understood.
