2020 Christmas Card and Letter

2020 was quite the year.  We were able to spend a lot of time together as a family this year.  We were lucky to have been quarantined together and tried to make the most of it.  On weekends, we would often travel to various parts of Arizona.  We traveled as far as Big Lake near Eager to Sahuarita south of Tucson. There is a lot of beauty in Arizona to enjoy.   We even snuck in a trip to UT to visit family and enjoy Bear Lake.  We are so grateful to have the gospel in our lives.  We were thrilled to go back to church and can’t wait to go to the temple, especially the Mesa Temple.

Jim continues to work at Merchant's Information Solutions.  He was lucky to be able to work home at home this year.   He will continue to work at home for the foreseeable future.  It has been nice having him home.  Jim loves spoiling his grandson and having nightly talks with his kids.

Tami has enjoyed having her family at home.  She has been busy with her children and grandson.  She has been planning fun activities during the week and weekends.  She has enjoyed learning new recipes to make.  Jim and Tami are primary teachers and have missed teaching this year.

Josh recently graduated with a master’s degree at ASU this year.  He spent the fall looking for employment and was thrilled to have found a job as an engineer.   His job is in Tucson and will be moving down there when he starts his job.  He is the fun uncle around here.

Danni is learning how to be a single mom.  She works for Taylor Junior High as a special needs aid and also at Sodalicious.  She works long hours and was able to find an apartment for her and her son, Manny.  Manny is the cutest 2-year-old boy.    He is very much loved and spoiled at our house.  He is quite the talker and is adventurous.  He loves trucks, cars, walks, and running outdoors.

Angela just had her “5th” birthday this year and we celebrated it big since her next birthday will be in 4 more years.  In April, she had her wisdom teeth removed.   Angela started off the year cooking and baking.  She discovered that she prefers baking.  She loves playing with Manny and her nickname is Gigi.

Emily is 16 and just got her learner’s permit her dad is teaching her to drive.  Emily is a sophomore this year and enjoys her elective classes.  Emily loves drawing and we often find her working on her latest masterpiece.  Emily plays the violin and enjoys it.   She is Manny’s best friend, and she spends a lot of her free time with him.  Manny sometimes attends her online classes with her.

We hope you have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!!

The Pace Family
