Dani participated in the school Spelling Bee this year. It must have been terrifying to stand in front of the school to spell words you don't know ahead of time. I admire every kid that participated in the Spelling Bee. I know that I couldn't do it. I was nervous for every kid up there. The judges ding a bell if you miss the word, but not immediately. If you get the word right, there is no indication that you spelled the word right. One kid spelled geographical. He wasn't sure if he spelled the word right, so he walked back to his seat very cautiously waiting for the bell. He sat down and then he realized that he spelled the word right. He was so excited! The students were so quiet and respectful. They were sad when their classmate missed a word. They were such a great audience.
