Memorable Monday
Christmas Letter
2008

The Pace Family has been very blessed this year.  We have been incredibly busy and had many adventures together.  We went camping near Zion’s National Park and went canoeing and hiking with Tami’s family.  We went on many hikes around Arizona as a family.  We love to spend time together.

Jim has been keeping busy between working at Merchants and going to school at ASU.  He is halfway through his Master’s Degree and should finish in May.  Jim passed three Microsoft Certifications tests in the spring.  He is so busy learning new skills.  Jim was released from his Scouting calling and really misses the boys that he worked with.

Tami has been a busy mom raising her four sweet children.  She went up to Utah for BYU Women’s Conference this year.  It was such a great experience and she learned a lot and plans to return soon.  She enjoys reading, blogging, volunteering, and lately cooking and baking.

Josh is in 6th grade.  He is in the advanced band at the school, playing the clarinet.  He plans to play the bass clarinet in the spring.  Josh turned 12 this year and was ordained a Deacon.  It’s been great to see him fulfill his priesthood responsibilities.  Josh is very busy with scouts, and has been on several campouts, including a week of Scout Camp.

Dani is in 5th grade.  She joined the band this year playing the bells and then the drums.  She prefers playing the drums. She is busy with piano lessons and has participated in a couple of fun concerts.  Dani is in an advance tap class and really enjoys it.  Dani is involved in Battle of the Books and just qualified for the School Spelling Bee.  She got her ears pierced this year and loves wearing ear rings.

Angela is in 3rd grade.  She has developed quite a personality this year and loves to talk. It is so wonderful to hear what she has to say.  Angela turned 8 this year and was baptized.  It was such a special day and we are so proud of her.  She is taking a music class and she really enjoys it.  She is learning music theory by singing and playing.   The program will teach her to play the keyboard next fall.

Emily turned 4 years old about a month ago.  She has such a sweet personality and is so much fun to talk to.  She is so excited about Christmas.  She thinks the presents under the tree should be open ASAP.  Emily went to a neighborhood Eagle project where the news channel filmed her sitting on Santa’s lap.   She is such a cute girl.

We hope that you have a Merry Christmas this year!
