State Capital Field Trip

I went with Emily on a field trip to the State Capital today.  We toured the State Capital which is now a museum.   We learned how AZ became a state and how the state legislation works.   We went up to the galley where you can watch the senators in action.  The senate was in session at the time, so we discussed how a bill becomes a law.  After visiting the buildings, we had lunch and then went on a scavenger hunt.  The scavenger hunt was across the street from the capital at the Wesley Bolin Plaza where there are memorials for those people who scarified their lives for us.
